    Settings and Account

Every Settings section explained: account and security, appearance, editor, shortcuts, data and pipelines, notifications, compute, source control and the AI Copilot options.

    Opening Settings

Press Ctrl+, or choose the gear at the bottom of the sidebar. Sections are grouped as Account, Workspace and AI Copilot. Many places in the Studio link straight to the section that explains a setting.

    Account

    • Profile: who is signed in to DLWAY in this browser.
    • Security: two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app (TOTP) and your password.
    • Cost and usage: what DLWAY costs and how much you have used. Everything is currently free; the plan limits in the code are not enforced.
    • Connected accounts: outside accounts linked to this one, such as GitHub and Google sign-in.

Sign-in uses short-lived access tokens with refresh rotation, and password reset is by email.

    Workspace

    • Appearance: light, dark, or follow your system.
    • Editor: font family (Fira Code, Cascadia Code, JetBrains Mono, Consolas or the system monospace), font size, word wrap, line numbers, cursor style, line highlight, format on paste and format on save.
    • Keyboard shortcuts: rebind any Studio shortcut, or Reset All. See Keyboard shortcuts.
    • Data and pipelines: how much automatic analysis the Data Hub shows (Off, Quick or Complete), how many pipeline runs are kept, how stubbornly failed steps retry, and what a new schedule does about missed runs. See Running pipelines.
    • Notifications: alerts for jobs that finish while you work elsewhere. See Jobs and notifications.
    • Compute: where Python runs, in this browser or on a Jupyter or Kaggle kernel you attach. See Remote compute.
    • Source control: the identity, token and remote used by the git client: remote URL, GitHub username, personal access token, commit author and email, and the CORS proxy that remote operations go through. See Source Control.

    AI Copilot

    • Provider and model: the provider, endpoint, model and key. The same connection is shared with Research.
    • Agent mode: enable the tool-use loop, the permission mode, the default model, the maximum iterations per turn, and user memory applied across projects, plus hooks.
    • Spending limits: daily and monthly budgets.
    • MCP servers: extra tools over the Model Context Protocol.

    See AI Copilot reference.

    Where settings are stored

Editor, pipeline and notification preferences are stored in this browser. They do not follow you to another browser, but your account does. Credentials you ask to be remembered are held in this browser's storage; the Hugging Face token never goes to the DLWAY server, and Kaggle and database credentials are encrypted on the server. See Privacy and storage.
